COMMUNITY COMPANY
Our Dance Dynamics Community Company is a group of Dance Dynamics dancers who want more opportunities to perform and want to get involved in the community.
These dancers must be enrolled in a jazz class as well as the Community class.
As all dancers know, recital is one of the best times of the year. However, for many dancers once a year is just not enough! Our Community Company is an opportunity for dancers to enjoy performing without the competitive edge and commitment.
Our Community Company is divided into two age groups. Within the age groups, the show will be choreographed to accentuate the individual abilities. The two groups will prepare a dance show to perform at local community centers, retirement homes and community events. These dancers will be invited to do some extra community events such as the Leukemia walk.
The requirements to be a member of our Community Company are:
- Dancer must be between 5 years old (K) and 18 years old (12th grade).
- Dancer must be enrolled in a jazz class in addition to the Community Company class.
- Dancer must commit to attending Company class each week unless he/she is sick.
- Dancer may miss for vacation as long as the schedule is pre-arranged with the teacher.
- If a dancer does not know the choreography for the show, he/she may be excused from the current performance.
- Dancer must commit to all of our pre-scheduled performances. As new invitations to perform arrive, we hope that you will do your best to attend.
- A Company Uniform will be required. The cost and items to be announced soon.
No audition is required! A SMILE and ENERGY are required!
