Dance classes for children with special needs
Our Mission Statement
To provide a nonjudgmental atmosphere in which students with physical, developmental, and/ or mental disabilities can explore creative movement and dance technique while connecting with peers and other Dance Dynamics students. Our goal is to assist our students in building self-confidence, dance technique, and motor skills in a fun, friendly environment.


Class Description
Classes are forty-five minutes long and include:
  • Brain Dance warm up
  • Ballet
  • Rhythm
  • Jazz
  • Free Dance

Class Times
-Friday 4:00-4:45    Ages 3-8 years old.

-Friday 4:45-5:30     Ages 9-18 years old.

The Big Sister Program
About Ms. Katie
Ms. Katie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Meredith College in May 2010 with a BA in Psychology and Dance Education and a K-12 License in Dance. She has extensive experience with children with special needs and has volunteered at the Meredith Autism Program, Pediatric Therapy Associates, and Barwell Road Elementary School. Ms. Katie also taught dance classes for students with special needs during her full time student teaching internship at Bugg Creative Arts and Science Magnet Elementary School in Spring 2010. She has been on staff at Dance Dynamics, Inc. since 2007.
