About Our Studio

During the fall semester,
the classes will mainly focus on technique,
but the students will also be learning a dance
to perform at visitors week
in addition to any community
performances.

Dance Dynamics is dedicated to teaching students proper technique and development while experimenting with the creative aspects of dance.  Students surrounded by a fun and encouraging atmosphere enjoy dancing as well as learning.

Our goal at Dance Dynamics is to provide quality dance instruction to all of our students, whether their purpose in dance is to continue on to a professional career or just for exercise and fun.

We have a dance curriculum that is unique to Dance Dynamics.  The staff have developed a system for all levels of each style of dance.  Our staff uses these lesson plans consistently throughout each age group so that each class of students learns the same curriculum.

At all times, the instructors are focusing on the individual student's needs as well as developing high self-esteem.  We want our students to be happy and proud of their accomplishments.

During the spring semester,
the technical training will continue
while the students concentrate on learning a recital piece
and practicing performance style
for our recital.

  9. Ms. Jeannette, Instructor
After 28 years as a Labor and Delivery RN, and instructor with the Clinical Development Department at the hospital, I retired in March 2016. As a dancer, I'm a late bloomer! Although my heart longed for dance classes as a young girl, my parents offered violin lessons. In retrospect, I'm grateful for those lessons because they fostered a lifetime of appreciation of music of all genres. What better expression of music than dance!!!! After years of being a "gym rat," as an adult, I decided I "needed" to learn to figure skate. To help with grace and movement, I started ballet classes. The class before mine was tap and I "had" to try that too. I fell in LOVE! A few years later, I was asked to teach both ballet and tap at my studio, Dance Dimensions in NY. When I moved to NC, I taught several neighborhood children both ballet and tap until they outgrew my small home studio. I love teaching dance! This is my third year teaching with the Dance Dynamics family, and I continue to learn as well, taking both tap and jazz classes. I also auditioned for and was accepted into a senior ladies dance troupe called Razzmatazz. Our troop won the county games and went on to win gold at the state level. I'm grateful for the opportunity to teach, and so excited to share my love of dance here at Dance Dynamics!
  10. Savannah Phipps

She loves to read, and encourages you to tell her about any book you’re reading because she’s always looking for new ones!”
