DDC Prep Team

The DDC Prep Team is for dancers who are serious about their dance training and their goal of competing with the DDC someday.

Members of the Prep Team are members of the DDC but they do not compete.

Members of the Prep Team will take a ballet, tap, and jazz class each week in addition to the DDC technique class and stretch class.

Members of the Prep Team will attend dance conventions with the DDC.

Members of the Prep Team will participate in local performances, the Christmas Parade and the Opening Number of the Recital with the DDC.

The Prep Team is designed to help assimilate dancers into the DDC. However, there is no guarantee that a Prep Team dancer will make a DDC team the following year.  The dancer must work hard and take advantage of the company experience.
